I have two adult classes made up of three people in each starting next week.
My boss wants me to assess their ability and devise lesson plans from my own resources. They will be a mixture of beginners, intermediate to advanced.
Any advice guys, in particular on assessment.... |

I'd suggest you just sit down and talk to them individually with a few prepared questions. What's your name, where are you from, what do you do here, why do you want to study english.
Change up the questions a bit between students, but keep it really basic.
Then ask them to read a short (VERY short) paragraph aloud and tell you what it means. |
