Can anyone help me find the paperwork to be downloaded for the E2 medical examination?

I have been searching the Korean Immigration website, but I can't find anything helpful there. I have to get this paperwork done and my school doesn't know what it is.

Thanks for the help.

The medical checkup is called 채용신체검사서(HIV & TBPE 꼭 명시) in Korean. I believe you must get it done at a General Hospital in your area, but I'm not 100% positive on that.
I just copied and pasted the Korean and printed it out, showed it to the information desk at the General hospital in our area and the staff did the rest.
The only other things you will have to bring are your ARC and passport type photo of yourself.
Hope that helps.

Alien Registration Card. You need medical to get the ARC. I simply took my passport and some photos to the hospital. I didn't bring any paperwork with me at all.

I'm in the same boat as westernguy. I've heard that you need the medical check to get the arc, but that you need your arc to get the medical check. What I found on the immigration website was that you need the check to get the card, but I have no idea how to go about getting it. How do you know if a random nearby hospital is sufficient? What do you say to them at the desk? How long does it take? Can you do it on the weekend? etc, etc, etc.

Thank you, losing_touch, I appreciate your help.

As for Teleria, the hospital needs to be okayed by the state, so ask the people who do the piss and blood test. They should know if they have the authority to do the tests.

Moreover, you have to do the tests to get the ARC. For instance, I just returned from Japan and have my E2 visa, but I have to do the med tests in order to get my ARC.

As a side note, I just got a job at a SKY University (Seoul, Korea, Yonsei) and these people have no clue regarding what Korean Immigration requires. The level of incompetence in this country never ceases to amaze me. I have worked here for three years and have yet to find someone who has the E2 process down cold, and that includes public servants at Immigration. I wish I had more positive things to say, but sometimes I've just got to vent. My apologies for the diatribe.

Peace out,

~ westernguy

Sorry for the confusion about the ARC Westernguy. If you are new here, and without an ARC, you will have to bring your passport. If you are re-signing or changing jobs and already have your ARC, then it will suffice.
