Hi,
I have a Wii and will eventually be bringing it back to the U.K. Its a Korean version.
Will I be able to simply plug it in and play, with a plug adapter obviously?

Does anyone have any experience with using Korean products, Wii, Playstation, DVD players etc on U.K T.Vs?
Thanks

you have to use a hdtv otherwise it will probably be black and white. UK tvs are PAL and Korean are NTSC. I did it the other way round with a UK xbox and Korean tv, it was black and white, I had to get a hdtv/monitor.

damn it man, that really sucks. HD TVs are really expensive too.

Will it defo work on an HD TV then?

What about using it on a non- H.D T.V, like a new flat screen one?

A lot of modern TV's have both PAL and NTSC. You might be lucky. They auto-detect whichever signal they get.

I'm not too sure to be honest. I just remember looking for a tv that had component cable connections.

Plenty of people do it, loads of people were importing Japanese or US wii's into the UK when they first came out or around christmas time when demand outstriped supply. Whether they all had shiny new hdtv's I don't know.
