Anyone out there have a copy of An Introduction to Language by Victoria Fromkin, either 5th or 6th edition? Australian edition would be a godsend, but if not, I wouldn't turn up the chance at the American edition.
If you have one to sell, let me know. If you have one but don't want to sell, then if there is a chance I could borrow it to make some notes in advance of the arrival of an ordered one, I'd very much appreciate the help. Starting a masters of linguistics and that is the text for the course.

Just received a PM from someone asking if the 7th Edition American would be any good.
Thanks for that mate! I figure more up to date as to be better right? Worth the punt anyway. So, for those of you who might have the 7th Edition American, would be interested. The Australian edition only goes up to 6th at the moment, and that has only just been released apparently. |
