Is there a way to do an advanced search on Naver and/or Daum?

It seems that there's no way to search for an exact term on these sites. On Google, of course we're just able to enclose the term in quotation marks and there you are... But on Naver and Daum the site automatically splits the term into its (Korean) component parts and never, never takes me where I want to go.

Does anybody know a way to narrow the search on these sites?

Why not just use Google? Any site with robots allowed is scannable by Google.

Can you read Korean? In which case read through this:
http://kin.naver.com/knowhow/entry.php?d1id=8&dir_id=8&eid=nncuQlUBYzzS99uydtgjWnb1lEJLT1Z3&qb=s9fAzLn2ILDLu/a5/Q==&pid=fguyawoi5ThssaESaDlsss--091263&sid=STCgfBx4MEkAABj49xI

Otherwise, this is the part you want to focus on:
Quote:
and(&) 연산
- A and B 는 A와 B 모두를 포함하고 있는 검색결과를 보여줍니다.

예) 박찬호와 김병현 두 단어가 모두 포함된 문서를 검색하기 위해서는 아래처럼 입력합니다.
박찬호 and 김병현 또는 박찬호 & 김병현

Which means, use the "&" sign between words to get search results that have both words, but I'm not sure it's a guarantee that the two or more words you're searching for will be together.
Remember to put a space before and after the & sign to get it to work properly

Thanks greenwillow. I'll try it.

Because the results are different. For example, the Daum "cafe" sites don't show up in Google searches.
