It's usually your school that does that for you. When I worked for SMOE, they usually did, except for the last time. That time they gave me the name and number of the person to call.

It's a 'piece of cake'. Phone them:

Korean Air 296-2006/2007

Asiana 055-266-2653, or 02-2127-8226

Tell them you have a GTR request for XXX Office of Education, when and where you want to fly and give them your information. Done! You will receive E-tickets as soon as the request is 'Oked' (mine took about 24 hrs.).

Last August, SMOE wasn't paying for tickets until a few days before the flight. That means teachers didn't get their tickets until 1-4 days before leaving.

This stressed out many, many teachers.

It's for public school teachers in their second year. I just got my ticket to the Phillipines paid for by them.

Can we choose which flights we want?

There are a few KoreanAir flights I see in the dates I need, flight time ranging from 18 hours to 30 hours. I really want the 18 hour flight, instead of the 30.

Yes. But remember they must be the most direct (which is usually the least amount of travel time) and not necessarily the least expensive. It cost them over 2.9 mil. to send me on home leave.
