I noticed it's slowing down more and more where it takes more and more time to use. This could be due to it getting too large for the server resources allocated for it. Maybe the increasing size is simply challenging the servers CPU, RAM, and hard disk size that was plenty enough 5 years ago?

Anyone know anything about the technical specs and issues of this site? I noticed many other forum sites using the same common template weren't slow like this one. What's the deal?

I don't know if it's true, but the rumor flying around at Dave's parties is that Dave either sold or turned over management of the Korean Forum side of the site to Canuckistan (or there was some kind of arrangement). They two parts of the site were separated so that, if there ever were an attack against the forum, it wouldn't bring down the job ads. Such a thing happened maybe five years ago, and it caused havoc for Dave and those who paid to advertise here.

A big reason why the search feature sucks is because (another rumor from Dave's parties) the site was originally brought down due to multiple searches being performed from multiple PC's, like from PC Bangs or something. So now we can only search once every minute or two to keep the server from being overloaded.

I don't know if any of the above rumors are true, however it would be interesting to hear Canuckistan's take on it all.
