I know this has probably been answered but the search on the cafe isn't working. If I buy a computer with a Korean windows OS can I later install an English OS system?

Well nothing is stopping you from obtaining a copy of English XP and installing it yourself. Aside from that, there's no 'official' way to change the language on any version of Windows that's likely to come preinstalled. There is a nice free software package called Vistalizator that allows you to do this though. I don't know how well it works.

Yes, you can install an English OS. You have two options.

1) Dual boot. This means you install English windows from another disk but you keep the Korean one too. When your computer boots up, you get to choose which OS you want.

2) Fresh install. You install English OS over the Korean one. The Korean OS is gone and only English remains.

And about the search not working. Here's something that might help you.
