Found out he fell. Another boy was holding his legs while he tried to retrieve something from a ledge. He landed in a garden outside the priniplals window. Lucky kid. He's ok, or he will be until the principal gets a hold of him. The school nurse won't let him punish him yet and he's really bent. Hearing a steady stream of "ship pals", something "sekis", and I think he actually gnashed his teeth. |

Wow, such nice words to use around students.
Imagine what would happen if a principal in the west was overheard swearing like that in front of students. |

LOL... (I'm glad he's Ok), but I can't help laughing!
It sounds like my school (boys middle)... I'm amazed there aren't more serious injuries. I have yet to see a student plumet by a window; however, I'm sure its just a matter of time -
"What was that?"
"Oh teacher... that was just little Min-jun discovering gravity." |

I passed him in the hall between classes. He's filthy but otherwise looked ok. Just to see for myself, I went up to the third floor and looked down. But DAMN! was that boy lucky. A few feet either way and he was into large shrubs that would have poked some serious holes in him. |

And then he took these soft 6 inch diameter balls and stuffed them up his shirt to look like Dolly Parton!
Talk about screaming 1st graders hell. And then he punched out a girl and bloodied her nose. Needless to say, I was not too impressed by any of this hoopla. |

You know I've only drank that once and won't again? What exactly is a cruise monkey?
I was joking about him hitting his head and that he might go looney, because one of mine did this morning. So many of you are closed minded and cliquish like on a college campus.
I'm serious, after one boy hit his head, cried a tear for only 5 seconds, stood up, and popped these soft balls up into his shirt and said, "I'm Dolleeeeee!," and I said, "oh stop that, you're not Dolly Parton, now gimee those balls." I couldn't help myself from laughing as he refused to stop and ran around the room for 5 minutes. Oddly, the other students didn't find it strange, point it out, or object. While none of my boys fell out the window, I was adding on how strange students were acting this morning and how they were so accident prone more than usual. Not only were they constantly having accidents, getting hurt, crying, fighting, and acting mad like they were too tired, they were not their usual selves this morning. Many just acted totally drunk, euphoric, and out of control, but I can't see how or why kids would be like that on a Monday morning. |

Where are you in Korea? Some of my older students came in last week with a story about a boy falling from a 3rd floor window!? |
