What does a fraudulent recruiter have to gain?

Well, since fraud is usually misrepresentation for personal gain, my guess would be money, but to be accurate, the term "fraudulent" really should be changed to "dishonest". The recruiter gets a fee for every placement, and could give a rat's ass about how he/she does it.

To be honest, I seriously doubt the positions posted on this site (or any other for that matter) are vetted for accuracy/honesty either, as to do so might affect an income stream. Food for thought.

A recruiter will frequently make 20,000 won for every hour you work. And they can keep on doing it, because they're lying to their students and saying that you're an Ivy League graduate, etc.

As long as you keep working for that recruiter, your recruiter is making 40% of your paycheck.

So just imagine if a recruiter has 10 teachers, each making 2,000,000 won a month (and taking home 1.2), and is getting the 40% difference?

THAT'S 8,000,000 WON A MONTH.

MONEY is the incentive.

800,000 in taxes? Where the hell are you working? And recruiters typically receive a flat fee for their services.

I don't use a recruiter, recruiters rip English teachers off.

Maybe the good recruiters just charge a flat fee, but this thread is about fraudulent recruiters. They often leech off your money until you quit.
