That email is one I received too, I It was sent to all the people in my friends adress book. That's how I got it. Then it atached to my adress book......etc ...the cycle continued i think.
I changed my password and ran virus/spy ware apps to be safe. |

I'd probably jump at it, but I don't need it just yet. When we move, I might want one for the subway rides to work. Then again, it may not matter much, because I have a feeling I'll be standing the whole way to work!
I'm also holding out for a model that does 3G or whatever without having to plug an awkward dongle into it. I'm hoping Korea opens up to this, anyway. They may not.
Dual-core atoms are on the way some day, and hopefully Dell will bring something bigger than an 8 gig SSD to these mini's in Korea. You can get that, along with a choice of colors in the USA. White makes me sick.
Actually, the Mini-12 is an awesome machine, but not until they un-cripple it and bring the price down a little. Right now, it's forced to run Vista on just 1 gig of RAM, and CANNOT be upgraded, because the internal chipset will not recognize 2 gig of RAM. Also, it's got a piss small battery. |
