I was wondering if anyone out there can help me. Right now I am in the process of getting my documents ready for SMOE and have everything ready except for my degree. I need to get it appostillised. My recruiter told me that I could get the signed affadivit at the U.S. embassy like I did for my FBI check but when I went there they told me I couldn't. I was wondering how I would get it apostillised. I am from Michigan and I will be heading back there in three weeks. Could someone please give me some direction to where I could send the documents. I'm pretty sure I can't get it done here in Korea. I'm hoping that I could mail it now and then pick it up when I get back to the States. I'm not sure how long it takes to get apostillised. Sorry if this has been discussed before. Anyways any feedback would be helpful. Thanks! |

I think Footprints Recruiting has a guide (in .pdf format) that says all of the places in each state where you can get your stuff apostilled. Just look under MICHIGAN and it will tell you. |

You you have your original degree? You are in Korea right now, OP?
I don't think you need your original apostillized, but I'm not sure. |
