Hey, as the topic suggests, if I have a multiple entry E-2 visa do I need my ARC to travel, say go on vacation for a week and then return. The reason I'm asking is because my contract starts in January but for the chinese new year I plan on going to Japan. I know it will take longer than 3 weeks to get my ARC, so I won't have one at that point. I will, however, have an E-2 visa and a multi-entry visa in my passport.

Thanks!
Mike

You don't need it, it just speeds things up a bit if you do have it on you. If the foreigner queues at immigration are long and you have the card in your hand they often send you to the Korean nationals queue.
They don't ask for it.
