I am graduating in june 2009, when should I start to apply for jobs? I know my visa cannot be given to me until i have my official transcripts and degree... any advice is appreciated and thankyou in advance!
ps. trying to find a job in Cheongju, does anyone know any good places in this area?

I don't really know...I just want good pay. I know its probably horrible to say that, but I want to save so I can pay off my fee-help (uni debt). My university has the highest fees in Australia! =[ lol
What would you recommend? I dont know the difference...I sent my resume to YBM ECC they got back to me asap, but after reading some stuff I'm quite skeptical about working for them... I just applied to get information etc. The man said he would call me in Feb to talk...
any info is seriously appreciated, thankyou! |

Getting here is the hard part.
Once you are here and you can do the groundwork, it might be far easier to get yourself a good job.
You mentioned that you want to save and pay of debts, which is commendable, but then you would do better by not staying inside Seoul, but just outside.
This will save you from a lot of "opportunity purchases" and stuff tends to be cheaper on the outside.
What is the target amount you need to save each month to comfortable pay off your debt? |

Oh man, lol.
You don't want to know. Not being sarcastic, its going to take me probably a good 10-15 years but its ok. In Australia you just owe the government and they take it out of your aussie wage, they can't touch what I earn in Korea.
lol
But I would like 2.3+ won, single housing and... return flights. From what I understand both public and private have their advantages and disadvantages.
Also, I'm not interested in Seoul, well I would be if it was good $$$
but, chengju or chongju... deagu or bundang are my preferences.
ughhh so hard! |
