Some banks, such as Standard Chartered will give you a 'Check Card' which is essentially a debit card. They are one of the only banks that will issue an international card. Many of the other banks will give you a hassle in order to get an international card. However, they will all give you a 'check card'
As far as the Credit card is concerned, regular banks generally won't issue you a bank card, but some of my colleagues have a samsung credit card. I know where the office is up in Nowon gu, Seoul, but no idea where they are in other parts of Seoul.
I was lucky enough to get a Hana Bank credit card. |
