Have any of you found any good non-Korean/Japanese/Chinese restaurants in Daejeon? I'm thinking Indian, Thai or other Southeast Asian, or Mexican (I know I'm dreaming). Middle Eastern or Greek would be great, too.
There's got to be at least a few ethnic restaurants in a city of this size.

Thanks

Hey,

Yes, there are. Let's see, if you go down to the bottom of TimeWorld Galleria, there is a turkish kabob place. Very yummy. Also, if you go near E-mart, and the TGI Friday's near there, just down the road there is a place called Indy.

Indy is a delicious Indian Food place. It has the same menu as Ganga in Busan and Seoul so i think it may be owned by the same people or a franchise, who knows? Either way, it's delicious.

I know there has got to be a thai place too, but I'm not sure where. I think at the bottom of Timeworld Galleria there is also a vietnamese restaurant.

Hope this helps,

Mike

In Koongdong there is an Indian restaurant.

Down the street from old Lotte hotel is a good Vietnamese and Thai restaurant. Gamnaji or something like that. I will check out the name when I drive by tomorrow. It is solid anyways.

I was there a couple weeks ago and went to an Indonesian restaurant. I don't know anything about the area, aside from the fact it's on the edge of a somewhat shady market next to a run-down arcade.
