A friend of mine was thinking of applying at Kunsan National University. Does anyone have any information about them?

(No, it's not me... am very happy where I am working right now).

I worked for them many moons ago. It's a unigwon, but pretty good conditions. The pay (at the time) was kind of low, but the hours were good, the apartment new and the students FANTASTIC!! There were 1 or 2 kids classes, but mostly ajuma classes and business classes. The only reason I left was that I was bored out of my mind!

Remember, this was several years ago. Things might have changed since then.

Hi There,

I went for a job there and did not end up taking it due to the location which is fairly remote.

The facilities seem good, when I came back someone said they had had a bad time with the director.

As I have not worked there yet I am not sure about it. I was sorry to let them down until I heard about another teacher's feedback t which made it seem like i had a narrow escape.

Any other thoughs out there?

It still has an awful rep.

More than two years after these posts, the man behind the shenanigans is still there in charge, making all the foreign teachers lives miserable.

If anyone wants the current skinny on the place, just email the current KOTESOL President. He still works there (not under the douchebag's authority, though)
