Found this interesting link. Some dood got his son to cut his finger off to help him stage a robbery that he was going to try and get compensation for.

And it's not like any one of us in our respective countries hasn't heard of any crazy *beep* either. I've heard/read many more and worse things BEFORE coming to Korea, i.e. in my own country. Not you? Rolling Eyes
