I'm working on the details of my winter camp and one of the days I will be teaching about cooking. I want to have the kids either watch me or participate (preferably participate) in making some no-bake cookies or rice krispies treats. I can't seem to find marshmallows at my local Homeplus so that's out of the question. I looked at no-bake cookies but most call for quick oats and I can't find that either. I saw that some recipes don't require oats but I'm hesitant on those (corn/frosted flakes based) since I've never made those.

Any recipes you would like to personally recommend? Recipes that requires ingredients I can find at the local Emart/Homeplus.

Any easy place to get a cylinder or quick oats for less than a man won?

Any other cooking ideas that only require a microwave and that kids would enjoy? (grades 3-6)

We wanted to have the kids make cookies in winter camp, but decided on chocolate chip and/or banana pancakes instead... that way the kids can make them, and they're probably more exotic to the kids than cookies would be.

If you still want to do no bake cookies, there are recipes that call for regular oats, which you can order from easyshopkorea.com
