Just wondering why some universities offer 4 months vacation and some only two - if the students are gone for the same period of time them who is there to teach?
Got an interview with a national university offering 2.4m, 20 hours per week and 8 weeks vacation. No MT, camps, weekend or off-site work. This would be my first uni job. |

| The sooner you get yourself a university gig the better. It reads like a never ending soap opera. |

| gonna bump this up as i'd still like to know the answer to this. if a uni does not require you to work on camps or with kids then why would they offer 2 months vacation instead of 4? what would you do exactly? |

Curriculum development? Non-camp vacation teaching? Unigwon "extra" classes?
Those are my guesses... |
