I'm currently weighing my options regarding coming to Korea next September. Before I continue, i should mention that I am well aware that the exchange rate sucks, I'm not under the assumption that I will leave with big savings.

One of the biggest draws for me is the opportunity to learn and practice Korean on my off-time while working under the EPIK program. I know that Yonsei and Seoul National Universities both offer Korean courses, but what is the availability of formal Korean language courses outside of Seoul?? I would prefer a university where credit is awarded, but any other language schools would be considered.

Is hiring a private tutor a viable option?

Thanks!
