Guys/Girls,

Please do me a favor today in your adult or university classes.

Ask them what they think about the color red in muffler/scarf/sweater.

Would a Korean man wear a red muffler/sweater? Why or why not.

I will explain the reason for my question after I see your responses.

It's finals at my uni and a lot of others. No time for idle chit-chat, it's TEST TEST TEST today.

I reckon young Korean guys would wear red. They'll wear anything. Well, a few are scared of black and white because it makes them look gangsterish.. but apart from that..

I've got middle schoolers, so I can't help you there. But my most fashionable male coworker is wearing a bright red turtleneck today...

Okay, I'll tell you guys what happened today.

My mom sent me two Christmas gifts. One is a wool ralph lauren sweater. It's red with two white reindeer on the front and the arms. She also sent me a muffler/scarf - it's also a ralph lauren with a kind of big polo guy at one of the ends of the muffler. The polo guy is about the size of your little finger. Anyway, the point is that they're both RED.

So all day, engineers I work with are telling me that "in Korea, only woman and old man and little child wear red color, especially the scarf/muffler"

So I'm wondering if this is the way the over 35 crowd thinks in Korea.

Very Happy

Tell 'em "red is the new pink; girls think sexy." They'll turn up looking like Bloody Mary's tomorrow.
Assuming they believe the things you tell them.

As I sit in the teachers' workroom typing this, I am wearing a fire-engine red shirt...with a tie, of course....

er,...what was the question?
