|
|
Hi...
I am considering taking a job in Dobong. I have read most of the posts about this area.... but i've still got a few questions.
- Yoga - where are some decent yoga studios in the area...less than 30 minutes away from Dobong?
- Swimming Pool - are there any pools where i could do some lap swimming in this area? do you know of any saltwater pools (not chlorinated)?
- Waygooks - what are the other foreigner areas nearby, beside Nowon? |

I wouldn't even claim Nowon as a foreign area, it may just have more foreigners than the other stations. Suyu Station will also have a few foreigner pockets, but its certainly not a foreigner area. Same with Uijeongbu: Foreigners live there, but it's not a "foreigner area." |

| I live in Dobong-gu and work in Nowon-gu but I just know about my own little areas and I can't give you any real details. Like Bibbitybop said, this is not a foreigner area. There's some scattered here and there but you might run into a couple a week or every other day if you're lucky. I can tell you though that this is the less busy part of Seoul. Nice area to live and work but if you're looking to hang out with other foreigners, count on a 45min-1hr commute to places like Itaewon and Gangnam. Most people here do not seem to speak English even minimally. |
