Hey,
I am new to the forum. I have no information for you...sorry. I would like to know what your experience has been like though. Did you go to korea for a teaching job without a certification?
My plan was to go to Korea to teach and bank some money because I can't afford a cert at the moment. And after a year contract go and take a proper 120+ hour course in another country that I want to live in for a while. I wasn't sure if that's realistic.
Is that kind of what you're doing?
I know that its possible to get a job before going over, and that's what I would do. But my two pretty serious concerns are: I don't know the first thing about teaching English to foreign speakers and I certainly do not know any Korean. Seems like two enormous hurdles, but aren't a lot of people in this position? I would take a serious swing at learning both on my own, but real reality and realness and so on...
thanks. this is open for anyone to respond of course. |

Wrong Forum but if you can breathe and talk you can teach English here. No Korean needed but it sure would help. For instance I have been here 2 month and still cant use my washer properly. At least I dont think I can. |
