Anyone have information on filing a Ch. 7 while living in Korea? I contacted a bankruptcy lawyer near my home town but they said to wait until I move back to the states. There seems to be very little information on this, which leads me to think it just can't be done while living overseas. I have zero assets and most of my debt is unsecured, so this won exchange rate is making me consider other options.

This is usually a private matter but Dave's is such a good resource I thought I'd ask here.

You must be present in the US to go to court.
