Hello all,
I need travel advice!!! I am hoping to travel out of Korea for my vacation at the end of December...I made the decision last minute. The problem is that I have only been in Korea afew weeks and do not have my ARC card yet. I have had my health check and am waiting for the results.
My questions are: Can I obtain a re-entry visa without my ARC (I only have a single entry now), and can I travel without my ARC? I am worried that I will not have my ARC in time.
If not, is there any way of speeding up the process of getting my ARC, etc. I am in Seoul, so am using the Immigration office in Mokdong.
I tried calling the office, but they weren't very clear about it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Bad news for you - you CANNOT get a re-entry permit without your ARC.
It takes about 7 days to process your ARC and deliver it (and your passport) back to you AFTER you apply for it.
Better get cracking on it or you will be spending your vacation in Korea.
