I've been browsing the forums for an appropriate place to ask for advice but I guess I'll just out with it on a new thread.

I'm just starting to get my feet wet looking for something in Korea, and don't really have any idea what someone with my resume can expect. With the recent economic troubles I'm wondering if job spots are getting filled faster.

This is me in a nutshell:

-Recently graduated from a fairly respectable university in the States with a degree in a foreign language

-Experience abroad as an English class teacher's aid/assistant

-Around 100 hours general substitute teaching experience in the US, elementary and high school

-TESOL certified (100 hour online course)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'd say that's a very decent resume. Take a look at the job postings board and see what you find.

You are qualified for any hakwon job as well as a public school job, any level. Uni jobs would probably be more difficult for you to land because you are not here yet.

Decide what age group you are interested in and where you'd like to live, then take a look at the job ads and start applying to any that suit your fancy.

I would also add: Do not worry about jobs filling up here. You will find a job guaranteed. Just make sure it's a good one, you don't want to get stuck at a horrible hagwon.
