Hey I am planning on taking a day tour of the DMZ this weekend. But I just got to Korea and do not have a multiple entry visa yet. I am a Canadian citizen.
Do I need my passport to do the tour of the DMZ? I'm not planning on going to the north side
thanks! |

You will need to show your passport for identification purposes.
Your passport will not be stamped so it is not necessary to have a multiple entry visa. |

| I was within rock-throwing distance of the DMZ this summer, and I remember seeing a sign that said something about a 'dress code'. I didn't get close enough to confirm what is needed to go in or what the sign said exactly. I did see a Korean couple on a motorcycle wearing leather get turned away. Maybe they were turned away because of a dress-code infraction. Maybe not. You should find out. Know that this particular crossing was north of Sokcho. |
