Is it ok to just have a Subject Access Request if you are going to be teaching corporate English or adults as opposed to kids?
I suppose if you are going to be teaching kids, they will want the CRB enhanced disclosure, will they? Or does a Standard check suffice? Mind you, you can only get the SUbject Access Request yourself, you have to get an authorised employer to get an enhanced or standard CRB done.
So, what did you have to get done? |

A basic disclosure from Disclosure Scotland is good enough. It costs 10 quid and comes in less than 10 days. Then you get it notary signed at a solicitor and apostlled at the Foreign Office. |

Subject Access was fine for me for an E2. It was apostilled. |

I submitted a Subject Access from the London Metropolitan Police. It doesn't need to be signed by a solicitor because it already has a signature (unlike the disclosure form which needs a solicitor to sign). Both kinds do need to be apostilled. The apostille itself is basically a verification of the signature on documents. |
