My IBM X41T laptop quit working about a month or so ago and its still under warranty until next September. Is it possible to get it repaired in Daegu or Seoul through a Lenovo warranty repair facility if they exist in Korea or would I have to mail it back to the states to get it fixed? I think it needs the motherboard replaced as it powers on to a black screen only. Tried an external monitor and other things but wont go beyond that. |

They have a service center is Seoul or if you want to pay for the travel time they can send a tech to you.
I have had good response from the Lenovo/IBM a/s in Korea.
I don't have the number handy but you can get it from the IBM web page (where I got it from when I needed it).

Had a problem recently with my T, in Seoul, and got it fixed without too much problems.
Here is the contact (she speaks english): MeeJung Hyun <mjhyun/AD/kr.ibm.com>
Replace /AD/ by the traditional arobase. |
