Can anyone tell me the exit and directions info for walking here. I have just read a few blogs and a number of them said they had trouble finding the actual trail up.

The last time I was there, there was a HUGE complex going up there. The signs pointing the way didn't match the actual way up.
The easiest thing is just to ask someone:
in-wang-san ga-neun-gil eo-di-eh iss-eo-yo?
Somebody will point you in the right direction.

The Korean Tourism site has an article that gives directions with pictures. I'm not sure how up to date it is, because the construction site it refers to may have progressed further, and the last time I followed it was about a year ago.

It was great, probably one of the better, if not best thing I have done in Seoul.
There is no construction site any more, just lots of huge new apartment buildings. You can't really go too wrong if you just come out of exit 2 and start walking into the warren of roads and head uphill. If you walk along the road next to all of the big new apartment buildings you will eventually see the gate. |
