USANAK started a thread a while back to avoid Steve Yoon of Yoon's English. Mr. Yoon had to open a new company called "Presentation School" because people became wise to his scams. One scam is that he will get you to attend an "interview", have you conduct a "demo presentation" for a company when no job actually exists. In fact, he often does not have a contract with the client, just needs "credibility" for having qualified instructors on "staff".

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I sent this e-mail to Mr. Yoon:

Be prepared for immigration officials to attend your ILLEGAL (presentation) contest. Enjoy the penalities and fines!

He responded:

Hi,

We didnt mean I will organize the illegal contest as posted.

The reason I figured out to conduct the contest was because Korean students and businessmen need to

upgrade communication method, such as business conversation and presentation.

However when I got your mail, I supposed I need to double check if it is against the law.

I dont know where you are from, but I accept your advise not only this event but other possible as well.

Appreciated if you further kindly recommend me the rules and ideas for the event.

Best regards,
(Yoon)

I am REALLY curious if any presentation event actually occured. Did anyone have contact with him?

Or was this just a futile attempt to collect foreigner resumes and pics to post on his site. I am been contemplating providing this forum link to allow him to respond, however, that may open a can of worms in itself . . .
