|
|
Hello everyone,
I've been told that there's a bus from Bundang to Incheon Airport.
If you know about this bus, PLEASE, tell me the details.
I think the subway will take WAY TO LONG to get to the Airport from here.
I'm a bit sheepish about Korean busses in general . . . so as many details on where to catch a bus (GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION) would be very helpful.
----------------------
I'm leaving for a short trip on Dec. 28th, so this is a slightly urgent request. |

Before you leave, learn to read Korean. Being able to read and understand a very basic level of the language will help you a lot.
Go out the east exit of Samsung Plaza. When you see the bus stop, turn right. Go straight for 20 meters and you'll see a small shack which serves as a waiting area for the bus. Look for the bus that says "Incheon" It'll cost about 12-15,000 won and takes about 60-90 minutes |

| sure, there is such a bus. At least there was 3 years ago. I bet it's still the same. At Seohyun station exit East/Samsung plaza East (as I recall, right there next to the station exit) there is that busy main road (if you know that area, to the West is the Tancheon River and bike trail, South is Sunae Station, North to Seoul). Right there, next to the road and within 20 meters or less of that exit, you'll see a little shack where they sell the tickets. You'll see the signs nearby for the bus, too. I can't remember exactly, but I think its like 15 or 20k won for a ticket. |

OK, I have no clue what the "East exit" is . . . is that the Krispy Kreme, ABC Mart, valet parking, or one of the other exits?
I've tried finding a bus around Seohyeon, and unless its the bus that I take home (#3), I have no clue where to get on.
Do you know the bus number? Perhaps I'll go on a scavenger hunt this weekend and try to find the correct stop. (I can read the Korean alphabet, but I've been too busy at work to learn Korean . . . and the environment isn't too hospitable to me trying to learn). |

Seohyun station, exit number 2 i think. Step out of hte front exit of Samsung plaza, really, towards the big road. 12,000 Won for the ticket. It's a purple bus and should come every 15-25ish minutes. |

If you can read the alphabet, just look for 인천국제공항
And don't learn Korean at work, learn it at home. Not trying to give you a hard time, but it'll make a lot of things quite simple |

I live on the number 3-2 bus stop from Seohyeon. (Samsung Plaza). So yeah . . I think I'll just walk around the bus terminal where I get off for the subway, and look for Incheon . . . never really saw a purple bus, but I've seen red and green buses.
The big one-way bus stop only has 2-4 places where the busses stop, and the 3-2 stops at the 3st and 1rd of those . . . so, yeah . . . I'm glad to hear that I might be able to find the bus somewhere around a bus that I take 2-4 times every week.
Thanks so much! |

BTW . . . how long does this bus take?
How frequent is it?
(I don't wanna miss my flight . . . and I need to grab a re-entry permit before my flight, so I'll need to factor all of this in to when I'll leave; otherwise, I'll be wasting many, many hours leaving extra early for safety's sake) |

OK, Thanks to the people who offered helpful information.
BTW, is the 12,000-15,000 Won on T-money, or cash, or either? |
