|
|
Anyone have any interesting ideas on something to do over the New Years Weekend (that is Jan 1-4). I have the whole 4 days off from work but am fresh out of ideas.
People keep saying "Jeju-do" but I don't really want to invest that much time or money into it. Also, I've been to Pusan and live in Seoul so I'm trying to find something that's outside of those areas.
Ideas??? |

Forget Jeju and Pusan.
Jump on a plane and get out of here! For sure.
If you have US$500 go to www.expedia.com
Fares departing Incheon on 1 Jan, returning 4 Jan (including tax):
Fukuoka US$344
Taipei US$371
Hiroshima US$379
Tokyo US$418
Osaka US$425
Nagoya US$469
Qingdao US$482
Singapore US$484
Kuala Lumpur US$494
.... and others |

Thanks for the effort you clearly put into this response. It's very kind of you. I definitely appreciate it. Actually though, I'm rather on a budget so a plane ride is a little out of range. I was thinking somewhere that's convenient by bus or train. I also have a car so could drive somewhere. |

| Many people have recommended Seoraksan in the winter (near Sokcho). I went in the fall, it's great. I'm not sure how busy it will be over the holiday though. |
