How much money should I take on my trip to China for Lunar New Year?
I don't want to take all the money I have but I don't want to leave myself short. Is between 200 and 300,000 won worth of Chinese money enough? |

| if you've paid for your hotel it's enough - but make sure you've covered transportation to the hotel - the airport is a bit of a distance from the center of town. |

| Everything is paid for except for my misc expenses like food and the like. Hotel and air-fare are paid. Basically what I need to know is "how much will it cost me to be a tourist" for like 3 days? |

Ya 300 bucks will cover 3 days but I would take 500. Good bars in Shanghai are expensive. I use to spend 6000 U.S. a month in Shang but only 4000 Rmb a month out in country China. Drinks in Shang can be up towards 120 rmb.
Cheap places to drink in Shanghia are called Windows( its a chain of bars). Expensive but nice are places in the Bund like Bar Rouge. |
