I did this once for a woman who wanted to go to graduate school in the States and needed to write some essays. I think I charged 18,000 Won per 250 words. Don't charge by the page, because they'll just shrink the font or single space it all so it fits on one page.

This could potentially be a lot of work though. This lady had no clue how to write an essay, so it wasn't just simple proofreading. I basically had to teach her how to write an essay (this was all done by e-mail), translate her stupid Konglish expressions into English and we also had to talk a lot about content and structure. She did several drafts of each essay and still couldn't get it right. Each time she did a draft I charged her at the same rate. So it got quite expensive. But I also had to spend a lot of time on it.
