Hi can someone tell me some decent places to go drinking with atmosphere (i.e. not people sitting on their individually assigned round tables) We are going to be staying in the riviera just south of the river.

My mates coming over from the UK so I want to go out and get obliterated in some decent western style nightclubs/bars (thats not to say we want all westerners there)

Any tips appreciated. going tommorow so hurry please :O)

im know itaewon is a bar area, but is it a bit shit, or are certain places there worth trying is the other area called hongdae?

Itaewon has some nice pubs. Wolfhound has a good crowd on weekends, Three Alley Pub has an older crowd, as does Seoul Pub. Rocky Mountain Tavern is alright if you want a young, primarily Canadian crowd. Hollywood Grill is okay, as well. There are a few others so you can avoid the sleazy, juicy hostess bars on the hill.
