Obviously a troll and another thread about SED.

I restate my stance with SED. I'm employed with them and have received everything they've promised. I've got 5 months left. 2-weeks vacation coming up in February plus an extra un-paid week off after Winter Intensive.

Sure, they have money problems and will pay late, most often, it is never more than a week or so for full time teachers.

Their cirriculum works.

If you don't mind getting paid late, try SED. In fact, e-mail me if you have any questions about them.

Oh, and if I really get screwed, I'll let you all know.

Try these past threads about SED:

I don't see much about the school in the Hagwon Report.

SED moves like a virus from university to university infecting their LC programs. They took over control of my old uni's program and crippled it within the span of six months. I consider myself lucky to have gotten away from them.

I should think most teachers would MIND being paid late. And if they are having money problems, that doesn't sound like great job stability to me. If you let yourself be a doormat, don't complain when people walk all over you. There is no excuse for late pay, unless the school is bankrupt. If they can't pay you on time, then it's not a school you should work for. They have a whole month to come up with the money on time.

Fellow at my university was teaching for the SED program, smart guy, been around, been in Korea for 3-4 years: just left. After working for SED for ten months, he was already 2.5 months behind in salary and no pension fund paid.

He, apparently, did not expect things to get better. I would suggest caution - unless you think you are one of the very few highly skilled people who can out bullsh*t SED's truly great bullsh*tters.
