Foreigners wanting to buy stuff over the net in Korea but can't... please read on and join our facebook group:

Fellow foreigners,

Sick of having to go all the way to Seoul to get the foreign books /magazines you want? Tired of paying too much at the big bookstores? Not sure where to find the things you want?

We have the answer - The new Caf Nicolia Online shopping service! Simply send me an email (via facebook) with details of what you're after. I will let you know how much it will cost by return. Next, come by the cafe (if you don't live in Bucheon you can wire the money. see banking details) and pay for your order in cash . We will then have your order delivered to the cafe for you to pick up or sent directly to your home address. Most things usually arrive within two days.

You can expect to save at least 3 dollars off general book store prices. It's possible to save 100 dollars off airtickets etc.

So many things are cheaper on the net (plane tickets, shoes, spices, imported food, electrical goods etc etc... but internet shopping in korea is almost impossible if you don't know the lingo or have a trusty Korean friend.

If you have any doubts (i know i certainly would), please rest your mind. This is no scam. The service we offer is totally legitimate and above board. We offer this service as a benefit for our cafe customers, and foreigners living further away. We could not afford to tarnish our image by offering below par service.

There's no obligation! After receiving the quote you can simply go no further without parting with a penny. For those of you who are unable to visit the cafe to pay, a small commission will be charged, however, in most cases it is still cheaper than if you were to buy on the high street.

We hope this is a useful service for foreigners living in korea and look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best,

Nick and Lia

PS - Don't forget we have a collection of books at the cafe which you can borrow. Simply come and drop one off and pick one up! We can also order ALL lonely planet travel guides and we sell these at almost cost price. Normally 5 dollars below the retail price on the back cover.
