What's merry about it?

I've just woken up only to find that Santa didn't visit last night.

Our parents lied to us. It's just one big conspiracy.

It's just a greeting and a hopeful sentiment.

White lies and kids fantasies are OK - but Scrooges don't get it ...

It's not a good sign that my seasonal song thread is hurting for viewers

Merry Christmas to everyone and may you have a happy and prosperous new year!

Someone gave us a plate of these today:

They're *really* good and look easy to make.

I so need to ski off all these treats.

Impressive guitar work (in post above) by "JustJohn" - I posted it on the "Best of YouTube" thread.

As for "Canuckistan", I still have a photo of her saved, which can be used as the "before" big Christmas feast picture ...

Haha, thanks. It's definitely nothing special though. I can do stuff a level or two beyond that and I'm not even very good.

It reminded me a little of Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover" style ...

Since it's Christmas, here are the Beatles with Christmas Time (is here again)

R-Man, I have the advantage this year of starting off lighter than the above picture--(renovating 2 vintage trailers in 1 year = great weight loss program)

....but I'm making up for it quickly....

mmmmmm...pumpkin bread.......

I do intend to ski/skate/snowboard/toboggan all of this off in the next 10 days however.

mmmmmmm.....coffee cake.....

Very Happy
