Perfect condition, comes with internal 60 GB hard drive and manual. You can record for days.

This is the same unit listed on Dave's a month ago.

Basically I've had it for nearly a month and have to hold my hands up and say that it's a little over my head. A few years ago I had a little Tascam analogue 4-track but the jump between that and the Akai is way too big.

I will offer it at the same price as I bought it for, 300,000W (or nearest offer), but will also include two brand new XLR mic cables and a dynamic mic, as well as a brand new power converter and hard carry case. Postage is also included.

I'm really gutted that I couldn't work it out, recording units seem so hard to come by in Korea.

Anyway, the highest bidder wins.

Sorry it didn't work out for you, Jimskins (I'm the original seller). Crying or Very sad

Anyway, I can attest to it being an excellent unit for the right person and the price is ridiculously cheap for a 16 track machine with a digital out running at 24/96. The internal effects are also quite robust.

There is a learning curve, though, as with any full-featured DAW.

If nobody bites, I'll buy it back from you (I am pretty sure you'll get some bites, though).

Jimskins, you might try your PC and Reaper ( http://cockos.com/reaper/ ), an awesome shareware DAW. It's a free and fully functional download with no time limit (and the non-commercial license, which they don't really force you to get, is only $50 anyways).

It definitely bears no resemblance to your old 4-track, but the download includes a very helpful tutorial, so who knows, as long as you have/get a decent soundcard, that might work out better for you.
