Perfect condition, comes with internal 60 GB hard drive and manual. You can record for days.

This is the same unit listed on Dave's a month ago.
Basically I've had it for nearly a month and have to hold my hands up and say that it's a little over my head. A few years ago I had a little Tascam analogue 4-track but the jump between that and the Akai is way too big.
I will offer it at the same price as I bought it for, 300,000W (or nearest offer), but will also include two brand new XLR mic cables and a dynamic mic, as well as a brand new power converter and hard carry case. Postage is also included.
I'm really gutted that I couldn't work it out, recording units seem so hard to come by in Korea.
Anyway, the highest bidder wins. |

Sorry it didn't work out for you, Jimskins (I'm the original seller).
Anyway, I can attest to it being an excellent unit for the right person and the price is ridiculously cheap for a 16 track machine with a digital out running at 24/96. The internal effects are also quite robust.
There is a learning curve, though, as with any full-featured DAW.
If nobody bites, I'll buy it back from you (I am pretty sure you'll get some bites, though). |

Jimskins, you might try your PC and Reaper ( http://cockos.com/reaper/ ), an awesome shareware DAW. It's a free and fully functional download with no time limit (and the non-commercial license, which they don't really force you to get, is only $50 anyways).
It definitely bears no resemblance to your old 4-track, but the download includes a very helpful tutorial, so who knows, as long as you have/get a decent soundcard, that might work out better for you. |
