In the midst of applying for EPIK right now. Here is my experience in a nutshell:
Oct 08- Feb 09 Adult hogwon in Poland- 30 hours a week
Aug 07- Aug 08 Kiddie hogwon in Korea- 30 hours a week
Feb 2006- June 07 Teen/Adult hogwon in Poland- Almost 30 hours a week
That's over three years of full-time teaching, but what I want to know is whether EPIK will turn their noses up at any of it, even if I get the requisite signed letters.
When you look at the application form for example, they talk about 'accredited institutions'. Are they likely to turn around and say that all my experience in Poland counts for nothing? Should I apply as a Level One teacher? Do I have anything to lose? Thanks in advance. |

EPIK does not accept hogwan experience (unaccredited institutions) for a higher pay grade.

| They counted two years of hagwon experience for me. That was five years ago, though. |
