Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times already, but I had trouble finding any info on here.
Q: Is it hard to get cable internet in your apartment? I'll be living in Suwon (Mangpo, Yeongtong). |

My school set it up for me. It's pretty nice, actually. They set up both cable and Internet. I stopped watching their cable as the only really English stations that came through were news stations, and that's really depressing, so I hooked up my new dvd player to the TV instead and don't even use the cable anymore. But I use the Internet religiously. |

Awesome! I have a feeling I'll be like you sarbonn. If I bring my xbox (plays dvds) is all I need is that power converter people have spoken about on here? |

We get a cheap deal with cable TV and internet together from the cable company. It's about 30,000 per month for both. If you live next to a large university (around many students) I wouldn't recommend it, however. When we lived away from them, our connection was fast enough. Now that we live next to the univ., and near many frugal students on the same service, our internet crawls at times.
It was fine when we lived further away from here. |
