Daves ESL Caf is such a successful website that it got me thinking about who are the competitors of Daves ESL Caf for the Korean ESL market.

When ever something is successful, copycats are bound to pop up.

I only know of two competitors.

English Spectrum
http://www.englishspectrum.com

Workn Play
http://www.worknplay.co.kr

Are there any others?

Does anyone have any experience with those two or any other such sites?

Dave Sperling, the guy who created and runs Daves ESL Caf, has nothing to worry about in terms of copycat sites stealing his viewers. Daves ESL Caf is by far the most popular Korean ESL job-adverting-and-forums website. Nobody else comes close.

Daves ESL Cafe, English Spectrum and Workn Play all provided a valuable service to the public. So by sharing any other such websites that you know of you will be providing valuable information to people. Thanks in advance.

Cool

Check out "Charles" down in Daejeon - perhaps the Charles of Foreigners are Watching You Fame. His site is either www.koreaneslcafe.com or www.koreaneslcafe.co.kr

Neither of those two addresses work. Anyone know the correct address?

So, what's the stigma with this site? Or is the "site that can't be named" another site?

Just curious.

Nope, it's the same site. If you type the name expat korea dot com, look what happens: www.eslcafe.com

The reason? I suspect i4NI knows more than he's letting on:

umm, it may say eslcafe.com on your link, but it still brings you to the site that shall not be named.

Yeah, I saw that. Weird. Helpful. It shows that someone who doesn't know what they're doing is trying to do something tricky to us.

Actually, I just noticed that it's really weird. In your original post it brings you to the site that we're not supposed to talk about, but in my post the quote brings you to this site. Weird.
