For the record I'm not suggesting there's any link between Mr Schertzer and the crimes discussed in this story, no matter how detestable Mr Schertzer may be in other ways (and apparently gold-digging Filipina bar girls are more his cup of tea in any event). I just thought it was interesting that the school that sacked him, AUA Langauge Center, ditched him because of alleged comments about affairs with bargirls, yet a director there was organising this.
I also wonder if this was the source of part of CPN's photo collection. |

There is nothing in that article linked to about either Scherzer or ANY school. How much more of this do you know that we don't?
It seems like you are spending too much time "wondering" about CPN's photo collection. |

Mr Schertzer just happened to work at AUA, where this guy was a director - that's the only connection.
As for CPN, that's another story, but considering he was in BK at the time this was happening - the story suggests that the ring was also exploiting the victims for pornography - I wonder if there's a connection there. I do know that I won't forget Neil in seven years time when he could get out and will certainly be sending letters to the governments of Cambodia, Vietnam, and Canada requesting he be extradicted and tried for other crimes. |

Sorry to intrude, but how do you know Mr. Shertzer worked for the school in question? |

From several teachers who've worked in Thailand I've heard that Mr Shertzer worked (and got fired from) AUA Bangkok. I've invited him many times to respond to reports that he got terminated from AUA for classroom remarks and he never has. Indeed I'm quite sure that on his ajarn.com blog he's mentioned his employment there himself.
Here on Koreabridge: http://www.koreabridge.com/jobforums/viewtopic.php?t=1421&sid=7d34dd46ad8f92afbeaed4aa3835ca55 he also makes reference to his time there.
Oh well, at least now we know that he wasn't in fact the worst teacher there. In fact it would be quite an irony if the head teacher arrested was the one who sacked him. |
