I think online karaoke is great way to practice singing, and there are a number of websites that allow you to record and share your songs with a potentially big audience for free.

Here's what I've done to amuse myself (and distant friends and relatives) so far this holiday season.

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/ace6c366 - "Blue Christmas" (in the style of Elvis Presley)

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/bbffa186 - "White Christmas" (ala Bing Crosby)

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b7b4d9ea - "Winter Wonderland" (traditional)

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b1e53b12 - "Feliz Navidad" (ala Jose Feliciano)

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/ae121ee20 - "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" (supposedly in the style of Frank Sinatra, but I think was more influenced by Vaughan Munroe's version that was used in one of the Die Hard movies.)

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/ada4d160 - "Wonderful Christmastime" (ala Paul McCartney)

click the "A" at the far right (below the video player) to get the onscreen lyrics.

click "FS" for bigger screen. (if the song starts sputtering and buffering, just stop it and click start again...)

Of course everyone is welcome to post their own holiday karaoke songs on this thread. Understandably, many folks (not being the natural showman that I am Cool ) prefer to record just the vocals without video.

Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to y'all (except for you Scrooge types out there, of course... Razz )

I think this one can be considered kind of a holiday song for all seasons (not really, but I wanted to post it anyway 'cause I'm only slightly off-tune...) http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b4db95f8

Here's a slightly revised edition of "Feliz Navidad"...
