How long are the Canadian CRC's good for: 3 or 6 months?

Mine was issued Sept. 24th, and if it's 3 months, I'm f*cked.

Unless Immigration has changed the requirements AGAIN, it's six months. It WAS three months a while back, but Immigration upped it to six.

Urban, I really hope you're right. Believe it or not, doing the whole CRC process in Canada is way more costly and time consuming compared to doing it from Korea.

Edit

OK, just found this on their web page:
Quote:

Issuance of proof of (lack of) criminal records

o Consulates located in Korea cannot issue proof of criminal records to individuals currently.
o Korean government requires a proof of criminal records issued by the relevant nations government for its citizens to use for any number of international activities, such as employment. It will accept records issued by the federal, provincial, state, local authorities.
※ The document is valid for six months form Criminal background Check issuing date. Please check the local government resources to find out how you can obtain one.
※ If obtained through consulates in Korea, please refer to the list below or the local webpage.

Two weeks ago I spoke to the immi officer and was told 6 months - so that is pretty current information.

I received my CBC at the end of July and just submitted the paperwork and got my visa extension this morning. That is easily 5 months, so the 3 month rumor is not credible. The immi officer also told me that as long as you are extending with the same company, you only need to submit the CBC once.
