Dear Teachers,

I think this would be a great Winter Camp activity. I recently started Project Peace .

Teachers/Classrooms download the Peace Pack materials and make a video of their classroom, using one of 6 chosen peace songs. Also a great way to learn English. See examples on the main page. Just have to know how to use a camera.

I really believe one of the higher goals of education/teaching is to promote the similarities of mankind. We are all on this spaceship earth - man, woman , child, chimpanzee, chihuahua and cactus. We are all similar in our yearning and desire and manifestation of LIFE. Through song, we can share in this humanity and give peace a chance.

Please also sign the Project Peace Petition. Goverments around the world spend so little on education when compared to defense / arms / the military. The petition asks goverments to make it a legal requirement to spend at least as much on education as the military. Please pass on info. about the petition!!!

This sounds like a great idea! I was going to do a lesson on world cultures for my winter classes, this would be a great way to finish the class up! Thanks for the idea, and great job with the project!

Yeah it fits in well with that. I'll be promoting extensively in the New Year as well as putting up very practical materials/activities which teach peace/cooperation.

It is a neat way to learn English and make the world a little better and smaller place through the international language which is song / music.
