They (the SK gov) do this all the time.

The English parliament isn't really that much better, IMO. I used to watch the Wednesday PM question time on BBC with my dad. We were always flabbergasted when these so called *esteemed colleagues* would boo each other. Sure, they were not fist-fighting, but really, was booing any better?

They still do it.

It's very different. Booing and jeering might seem a bit rude, but setting up (then destroying) barricades, people punching each other, using fire extinguishers as weapons and screaming like banshies, is an entirely different world.

British politics is esteemed in tradition. Korean politics is esteemed in violence.

You can't really be serious can you? Raucous laughter and scripted one-liners might border on the tedious at times, but the violence that often characterizes the Korean parliament is on another planet altogether. Have you actually even see the pictures? They are cringe-inducing.

Are these stupid SOBs going to get arrested? They deserve to be thrown out of any politics and belittled publicly.

Actually, they become heroes in their political parties and with their special interests for "standing up" to the opposition parties.

Korean political logic: When in doubt, get a bigger hammer.
