Hi; I'm new to this forum, but I've been teaching in Seoul for a couple of years.

I'm going to one of the hotel dinners for Christmas, and it's going to cost me, so I don't want to do that again for New Year's Eve...but it would be nice to do something special with my girlfriend. Any good bars with NY Eve parties? Should I make reservations somewhere, or should I just head down to Itaewon or Hongdae and see what I can see? What do you think?

Bottom line: I need Champagne, and I don't wanna wander around in the cold looking for a place that isn't packed.
